DESCRIPTION:All the Rivers is a global ensemble of immigrant and refugee musicians from 10 countries who now call Vermont home. Founded in 2024 by musical director Avi Salloway (Billy Wylder / Bombino)\, the group has quickly emerged as a vibrant artistic force for belonging and justice\, shaped by the political\, environmental\, and social pressures facing immigrant communities worldwide.\n\n\n\nThis performance features Steeve Valcourt and Nadine Niles of Haiti's Lakou Mizik\; Colombian singer-songwriter Cintia Lovo\; balafon master Ousmane Camara of Guinea\, violinist Ernesto Villalobos of Veracruz\, Mexico\, West African percussionists\, and Japanese American drummer Daiki Hirano\, in collaboration with Salloway.\n\n\n\nSinging in six languages and weaving musical traditions from across the globe\, the ensemble creates high-energy\, transformative performances that invite audiences to dance\, sing\, and join together in solidarity. Each show becomes a space of story and connection amplifying immigrant voices while highlighting the cultural richness new Vermonters bring to our state.\n\n\n\nRecent highlights include a sold-out performance at the Flynn in Burlington\, where nearly 1\,500 people gathered in music and collective joy in support of immigrant communities.\n\n\n\nLooking ahead\, All the Rivers continues to expand its impact through a debut studio album\, a documentary film\, and an increasing number of performances across the Northeast.\n\n\n\nAt its core\, All the Rivers is both a celebration and a conversation uniting communities through the power of music.
