DESCRIPTION:Brandon\, VT Otter Valley Union High School is pleased to announce the upcoming Third Annual Otter Valley Career Day\, taking place on Friday\, March 13\, 2026\, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The district is currently seeking participation from local businesses\, educational institutions\, training programs\, and community partners to help provide students with meaningful exposure to career pathways and postsecondary opportunities.\n\n\n\nOver the past two years\, Career Day has become a highly impactful experience for Otter Valley students\, thanks to the many professionals who have generously contributed their time\, expertise\, and enthusiasm. Four 30-minute sessions will be held.\n\n\n\nPathways Fair (Grades 10 12)\n\nFrom 10:00 11:00 AM\, high school students will meet with colleges\, training programs\, apprenticeship providers\, employers\, and other organizations to explore postsecondary options and career pathways.\n\n\n\nFinancial Reality Fair (Grade 9)\n\nNew for 2026\, the Financial Reality Fair will introduce ninth-grade students to real-world budgeting and personal finance concepts through a guided simulation. Volunteers are needed to assist students as they work through financial decision-making scenarios.\n\n\n\nParticipants from any organization are welcome to take part in one or more components of the day. To assist with planning\, registrants are asked to complete the corresponding sign-up form on the OV website for each activity they wish to join. Snacks and lunch will be provided as a gesture of appreciation for the community's support.\n\n\n\nWebsite Link: https://ovus.rnesu.org/o/ovumshs/page/career-day\n\n\n\nFor more information about Otter Valley Career Day\, please contact:\n\nThe Otter Valley Career Day Team\n\nDevon Karpak dkarpak@rnesu.org\n\nKendra Ross kross@rnesu.org\n\nKatie Wallett kwallett@rnesu.org
