DESCRIPTION:Rutland resident Pete Giancola was diagnosed with brain cancer at 43.  Doctors predicted he had roughly eight months to live but with love and support from his children\, and hundreds of blood donations courtesy of generous\, volunteer blood donors\, he survived 10 years!  When Pete died in 2020 his family knew immediately how they wanted to honor his  memory -- they asked friends to "Be Like Pete" and give blood so other patients could enjoy more years with their families.\n\n\n\nJoin us and give the Gift of Life in honor of Pete Giancola.
