Join us for the Independence Day parade on July 3rd with a step-off time of 10 AM from the east side of the village on Route 4A.
Following the parade, members of the Castleton Bridge Initiative, a formal group comprised of residents and Castleton University faculty and staff, will host an "after party" at the Village Green with music and food. We encourage people to come out and express appreciation for our independence while displaying the colors red, white, and blue.
The Town is planning a firework display from the Crystal Haven Common Area on July 4th at 8:45 PM. There will be parking at Crystal Beach (north and south parking areas) for a small fee or donation.
The proceeds are part of the Crystal Beach revenue process to help keep the beach, buildings, and the grounds in good shape for patrons.
The 4th of July Committee has music planned at Crystal Beach prior to the fireworks. The snack shack at the beach (Crystal's Beach Treats) will be open and selling hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, Gatorade, coffee, hot chocolate, soda, water, candy, and Snow Cones, so bring a chair, blanket, bug spray, and a smile and enjoy our Post-COVID-19 freedom.
