The Champlain Philharmonic and Arc Benders Circus Opera will join forces for the orchestra’s Fall Concert Series for a magical and awe-inspiring performance of Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flute. The concerts will be on Saturday, October 11th at 7:30pm at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury and Sunday, October 12th at 4:00pm at Grace Congregational Church in Rutland. The performance will feature Elizabeth Wohl who will sing while suspended in the air by aerial silks. She will be joined by acrobat Eliana Perlmutter, and tenor James Anderson. The program will also feature a composition by Vermont’s own Jerome (Jerry) Shedd and Stravinsky’s Suite No. 2 for Small Orchestra. Tickets are $15 General Admission, $10 Seniors (60+), $5 Students and will be available in advance and at the door for both performances.
