Champlain Philharmonic Spring Concert

The Champlain Philharmonic will be presenting its Spring Concert at Grace Congregational Church in Rutland on Sunday, March 30th at 4pm. The orchestra will be joined by the legendary Diana Fanning who will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. Also on the program will be a 10-minute silent film, Two Balloons, an animated love story about two lemurs. The orchestra will accompany the film. Keeping the tradition of showcasing a Vermont composer at each concert, the program will also include Among the Hidden by UVM's Patricia Julien, Ritual Fire Dance by Manuel De Falla, and Borodin's Symphony No. 3, a lesser-played symphony that was unfinished due to Borodin's death.
