The Alley Gallery is proud to present Emily Bicht and her original pieces of pen and ink drawings, paintings, silk screened and ceramic objects embodying a prescribed ideology of the “American Dream” from an era that manipulated generation of families to believe in the dream home. She uses retro imagery as current social commentary. She commented on her work with the age old saying, “The more things change, the more they stay the same*.”
The artist will be in attendance at the opening, Saturday, March 7th, 2020 starting at 3pm until 7pm. We will have music, light refreshments and hors d’oeuvre.
