Mac & Cheese Cook-Off & To-Go Mac

We invite the public to experience this s'Mac down competition for the best Mac & Cheese in Rutland. Local cooks will bring their champion recipes cooked and ready for patrons to taste. Samples will be available for purchase at $5 for 3 samples with additional samples available for purchase and vote while supplies last. The tasting will occur from 11 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Cooks will compete for 2 awards: Judges’ Choice and Peoples’ Choice. The Rotary Club of Rutland seeks to support local efforts to combat food insecurity. In this light, the club in partnership with Companions in Wholeness is making single-serving To-Go Mac & Cheese available for purchase. Volunteers will prepare the homemade recipe, featuring Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese, for purchase in advance and pick up during the Mac & Cheese Cook-Off. Proceeds benefit Companions in Wholeness.
