Don't miss this opportunity to cap your fall racing season with this foliage run!

The Middlebury Maple Run is a USA Track & Field Sanctioned event.

Bus Shuttle Service to Start

We will be offering a FREE bus shuttle service from parking lots around Middlebury College’s art and athletics complex to the start area.

The Betcha transit bus (which looks like a classic yellow school bus) will pick up any interested race participants or spectators at two designated areas and offer transportation to the start area.

Shuttle service will begin at 7:30am on Sunday, Oct 19 and run 4-5 loops until about 8:45am, with a drop off at the start/finish.

For anyone interested in a shuttle back to the parking lots, the bus will resume service from the gravel parking lot at the end of Porter Field Rd nearest South Street and transport people to the upper parking lot. For the safety of runners and spectators at the finish line, we will NOT offer bus pickups from the immediate finish area

Half-Marathon Time Cut-Off

To ensure the safety of our runners & volunteers and to re-open closed roads, there will be a time cut off after 3 hours. If a runner hasn’t reached the 7-mile mark by 10:30 a.m. (13 min/mile), we cannot guarantee support through the remainder of the course – meaning aid stations will close, you will not be officially timed, and the sweep vehicle will move up to the next runner.  Runners may be asked to remove themselves from the course or be picked up by the sweep vehicle.

Post-Race Breakfast & Awards

Grab & Go Breakfast – 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Complimentary entry for runners with his/her bib number. Friends and families may also purchase breakfast tickets on Race Day (while supplies last).

Awards Ceremony will commence once race is finalized. First-place finishers in each division receive large maple syrup. Second and third-place finishers in each division receive small maple syrup.

Dr. Davida Murray from VT Moms Physical Therapy and Performance will be offering post-race recovery services and will be available to answer any questions about running performance, pain, leaking, and pelvic floor discomfort when running. As the top performance-based physical therapist in Addison County, she specializes in helping women runners enhance performance and recovery- all with comfort and confidence.

Don’t hesitate to say “hello” and ask her anything!
