At Lyght Bulb Moment Foundation Inc., we have carried a dream in our heats to create a true home for those living with dementia, where compassion guides every decision and dignity is never lost. That dream is now becoming reality through Ida's House of Vermont.

When we first envisioned Ida's House, we knew it could never be "just another facility." It had to be a real home - one built on love, understanding, and respect. A place where people living with dementia or behavioral health challenges are embraced for who they are, not defined by their condition.

At Ida's House of Vermont, we welcome individuals:

• Living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia - at any age
• Facing behavioral health needs alongside cognitive decline
• Who may depend on Medicaid - because no one should ever be turned away due to finances

The open house is Friday, November 7 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Ribbon Cutting will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tour the new facility and us virtual reality to better understand what it is like for someone with dementia to navigate the facility.
