Rutland City Band

Founded in 1879, the Rutland City Band is the country's oldest municipally-funded community band. Under the direction of Eddie Wilkin, the band performs a wide range of traditional wind band repertoire, from old standards to new compositions. The band is comprised of student, amateur, and professional musicians ranging in age from 13 to 85. We perform every Sunday starting Father's Day Weekend, and our season runs throughout the summer months. Performances are at 7 in the Main St. Park gazebo.

There is no fee to attend the Rutland City Band concerts in Main Street Park. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, a snack and beverage and enjoy this Rutland tradition
