Sketch Characters: Your Inner Weirdo (Ongoing)
We’ve all got a cast of characters inside us, waiting to be let out! In this weekly online drop-in workshop, you’ll learn how to create interesting characters and express their inner thoughts and feelings. Learn the tenets of a great stage character: physicality, emotion, stakes, and circumstance. You’ll receive supportive, expert feedback from The Second City alumnus Julia DiFerdinando (Creative Director, Vermont Comedy Club). No minimum requirement; attend any week you are able!
Note: this is not a cumulative class, and does not end in a class performance. This is an ongoing drop-in, to assist new comedians in the creation and improvement of their material.
Prerequisite: some improv. experience. Adults 18+
