Tea, Treats & Truths About Aging Join the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging (SVCOA) and VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region for Tea, Treats & Truths About Aging, a welcoming community conversation focused on aging, hospice care, and the many resources and support services available close to home. During this relaxed and informative gathering, attendees can enjoy tea and light refreshments while learning about services that can support older adults, caregivers, and families. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, connect with local professionals, and learn more about resources that can help individuals and families navigate aging and caregiving. This event is ideal for older Vermonters, family caregivers, friends and family members, and anyone interested in learning more about aging, hospice care, caregiving, or community-based supports. Tea, Treats & Truths About Aging is free and open to the public. The event will be held directly following the SVCOA Mindful Moments Café. The Café is free and open to unpaid family caregivers of individuals living with dementia-related issues and provides a supportive space for caregivers to connect with others, share experiences, and find community. Attendees of the Mindful Moments Café are encouraged to stay afterward for Tea, Treats & Truths About Aging, and members of the broader community are welcome to join for the public event.
