The Librarians screening
The Librarians is a 2025 American documentary film, directed and produced by Kim A. Snyder. It follows librarians in Texas, Florida, and other states, as they unite to combat book banning in the United States.
Rutland Free Library is hosting a free screening at The Paramount Theater ahead of Banned Books week 2026. The film will be followed by a panel discussion including former VT Teacher of the Year Karen McCalla, author Jo Knowles from Authors Against Banned Books.
