Artist, collaborator, and social activist Traci Molloy returns to Castleton to speak about trauma-informed education, the impacts of heightened anxiety, and the pandemic, and how to utilize artistic collaboration and activism as a tool for coping with trauma. Molloy utilizes printmaking, drawing, painting, photography, and digital processes to create independent and collaborative works exploring themes of adolescent culture and identity. She has a particular interest in exploring how humans process trauma and grief, the emotional aftermath of violence, and the ways that American society re-contextualizes history to mask painful truths and nullify collective loss.
