Whoopie Pie Festival

The Third Annual Whoopie Pie Festival presented by CEDRR and sponsored by Casella, in collaboration with the Rutland Recreation Department, Come Alive Outside and other organizations from the Rutland Region will host this event..

The Whoopie Pie Fest will include over 15 whoopie pie vendors who will offer samples, pies and other sweet treats for sale!  Prizes will be awarded for the Overall Best, Most Creative and a People's Choice award.  The event will feature live music by The Panhandlers, a green street, kids activities, food trucks, Square Dancing demos, face painting and much more! And don't miss out on the assembly of Vermont's Largest Whoopie Pie!  Last year the whoopie pie weighed in at 770 lbs. -  Dream Maker Bakers is going for 900 lbs. this year! The Whoopie Pie Festival starts at 12:00 pm till 5:00 pm.  Come join us for a day of fun-filled celebration!
