Woods Walk & Talk

Join Rachel Batz, Outdoor Recreation Director for the Town of Dorset, on a woods walk at Merck Forest. Since 2019, Rachel has built and cared for 30 miles of trail across Dorset's town forests and spent years leading strategies to improve the health of those woods. She believes trails should belong to everyone, and has made it her mission to keep Dorset's lands open and welcoming to all. Join her on Merck Forest's trails to walk and talk about helping make nature and stewardship accessible to all, and how to better engage communities in the outdoors.
