The Rutland Housing Authority of Rutland Vermont is seeking an experienced leader to manage its finance, human resources, and compliance functions. This executive position is responsible for strategically managing RHA financial and personnel resources. As the primary fiscal agent, the Director of Finance and Human Resources will ensure that the Authority is compliant with all Federal and State regulations, as well as RHA policy including, but not limited to, record keeping, reporting, internal controls, investments, human resources, and information technology. The Director of Finance and Human Resources will develop and ensure implementation of relevant policies and procedures for accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, financial reporting, record keeping, inventory, and personnel policies.
We require a bachelor’s degree in a related field, three years of experience and computer proficiency. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, analytical, independent individual who possesses excellent time management and communication skills. Experience collaborating with accountants and auditors is highly desired. Affordable housing experience and knowledge of HUD regulations a plus.
