Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Shasta Mattino as Interim Executive Director and the search for a Director of Economic Development.
With the departure of former Executive Director Lyle Jepson, the CEDRR Executive Committee recommended Mattino, CEDRR’s Finance & Compliance Manager, as Interim Executive Director to the CEDRR Board of Directors. This recommendation has been approved.
“We look forward to Shasta stepping in as Interim Director to ensure we execute the goals and objectives that CEDRR has in place,” says Russ Marsan, CEDRR Board President.
At this time, CEDRR and its board will not begin a search for a new Executive Director. However, the non-profit is actively seeking a Director of Economic Development to serve as the primary driver of business and economic growth initiatives across the Rutland Region. This person will develop strategies to attract, retain, and expand businesses, manage grant and loan programs, and foster economic partnerships.
“I am honored to accept the role as Interim Executive Director and am very grateful for the support of the board and community,” says Mattino. “I am blessed to have such a great staff already established to help with the continued success of CEDRR. We are actively searching for a Director of Economic Development to continue the economic growth in Rutland County. This will be a key part in carrying out CEDRR’s Vision, Mission, and Goals.” Anyone interested in the Director of Economic Development position with CEDRR is encouraged to apply here.
