Join the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging for a free Community Health Day focused on helping individuals and families connect with local health, wellness, and caregiving resources. This community event brings together more than 15 local organizations dedicated to supporting healthy aging and independent living. Visit with trusted partners including MyHealthyVT, Caring Canines, Rutland County Health Partners, VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, Community Care Network, and many more to learn about programs, services, and supports available throughout the region. Attendees can also receive free basic health screenings and vaccinations for adults age 60 and older (while supplies and staffing are available), making it easy to take an important step toward better health in one convenient location. A free lunch will be provided by TRIO Community Meals, giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy a meal while connecting with neighbors and community partners. This event is free and open to the public. Whether you're looking for health information, caregiver support, wellness resources, or simply want to learn what's available in your community, everyone is welcome. The Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging extends its sincere thanks to our event sponsors, AARP Vermont and The Bank of Bennington, for helping make this community event possible.
