Event Description:

Tai Chi is an ancient, Chinese, graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is considered generally safe for all ages and levels of fitness.

Medical studies confirm that Tai Chi can help relieve pain, reduce falls, reduce stress and improve quality of life.

This is a six-week, beginner level class and is recommended for people with arthritis, diabetes, stress and a variety of other health conditions, or for anyone looking for a gentle form of exercise.

Please be aware; if this class is full and you would like to be placed on a waiting list, call Community Education at 802.772.2400. There are often spots that become available up to the start of the the class, and you will be notified if that happens. The waiting operates on a first come, first serve basis.
